I have to confess, this photo is from October in Massachusetts- but yesterday morning in Oakland at the park, the view was similar. A tree with just a few big brown leaves dangling and lots of sky; there had been mostly shade two weeks ago...
It worked by the way. We had sun for sand volleyball this afternoon. Its a mixed blessing. The sunshine means we can see until 6pm, but the sunshine means that certain angles give advantage to volleyball players attacking with the sun at their back. You CANNOT see a thing, because of the sun's blinding light.

Here in Austin a norther with rain came Thursday. Its Sat. 2pm, 58 degrees, wet, humid, and completely overcast.
Your photo, timed to day, is strangely moving.
Is it that S.F. savors such an uncommon view, and we, today, miss our common view?
